These Terms of Use apply to bigwavesurfchannel.com, operated by Kata Patek Productions s. r. o., Budatínska 3230/16A, 851 06 Bratislava, Slovakia (“BWSC”, “we”, “us”). These Terms describe the conditions for website use. They do not replace any separately agreed licensing contract or mandatory legal rights.
2. Service
BWSC provides independent editorial coverage of big-wave surfing, original documentaries, photography, Stories, embedded media, surf forecast information and contact options, including photography licensing enquiries. We may update, suspend or remove website features or content.
3. Editorial independence
BWSC content reflects independent editorial judgment. Partners, sponsors or other organisations may be credited where applicable. A credit or link does not necessarily mean endorsement. Opinions expressed by an interviewee or contributor do not necessarily reflect BWSC’s views. Corrections and rights concerns can be raised using the contact below.
4. Intellectual property
Website content and branding are protected by copyright, trademark and other rights. Rights may belong to BWSC or credited third parties. The appearance of an athlete, contributor or other person in BWSC content does not imply their endorsement of BWSC. Copyright ownership and rights relating to a person's image, name or likeness are separate and remain subject to applicable law.

Forecasts, measurements, buoy and tide data, camera views and related information are provided for general information only. Data may come from third-party sources and may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate or unavailable. Ocean conditions can change quickly.
Forecast values are model-based estimates, while observations represent measurements from monitoring equipment. Neither guarantees actual conditions at a particular location or time.
Forecast information is not a safety guarantee or a substitute for local knowledge, official warnings, lifeguard or authority instructions, proper training or your own judgment. Do not rely on BWSC information alone when deciding whether to enter the water or undertake related activities.
8. Safety
Big-wave surfing and related ocean activities are inherently dangerous and may result in serious injury or death. Footage and Stories document experienced athletes and specialist teams and are not instructions or encouragement to imitate the activities shown. Always comply with local rules and warnings and seek appropriate professional guidance.
9. Contact submissions
When using the contact form, provide accurate information. Do not submit unlawful, abusive, misleading or infringing material, malicious code or confidential information belonging to others. Do not send sensitive personal data unless necessary. Contact submissions do not grant BWSC an unrestricted right to publish your message or attachments. Applicable privacy obligations and rights-request duties remain unaffected.
10. Acceptable use
You must not use the website unlawfully; interfere with its security or operation; attempt unauthorised access; scrape or extract content at scale without permission; or use content in a misleading, defamatory or infringing way.
11. Accuracy
